Miglior Fabbro is a jewelry design project inspired by literature. Each ring is inspired by the heroine of one of my favorite books, and made-to-order in New York City from solid gold and top-quality stones.
Miglior Fabbro means “the better craftsman.” It’s originally a quote from Dante’s Inferno, but it was most famously used by T.S. Eliot in his dedication of The Waste Land to his friend and editor Ezra Pound. It refers to the metaphoric alignment of the poet and the craftsman – who both create works of art from raw materials, whether words, or gold.
